Cancellations / No Shows
Please understand that as a small grooming salon, we can only take a limited number of bookings each day. Last minute cancelled appointments cannot be filled, which impacts our business greatly.
As such we would appreciate a call or a text more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. A $50 reschedule fee will apply per dog for appointments cancelled within 24 hours.
A no show or same day cancellation means we may not accept your appointment next time.
Please be on time for your appointment. Our entire schedule is disrupted when a client is late. We will cancel the appointment if the client is more than 15 minutes late.

If matting is minimal, we may brush them out for an extra fee (there is a 15 min limit on de-matting a dog). However, if de-matting involves a deep comb through the tangled hair that causes pain or undue stress to the dogs we will not perform a detangling procedure. This would require us to shave the dog for the dog's own benefit. We will always notify you before shaving your dog as a requirement. We charge extra $25 for shaving down. If permission to shave down is denied, your dog will NOT be bathed or receive grooming of any kind, and the dog will be picked up by the customer as is. There is a risk of dogs licking cuts after shaving in extreme matting situations. In addition, the skin may appear red, itchy and irritated due to the lack of oxygen reaching the skin due to the matting.

We require your dog to have undertaken regular flea/worm treatments before booking. If we find a dog to have fleas/worms, we will treat these at the owner's expense.

INCL BEHAVIORAL ISSUES
Owners must inform us if your dog bites, is aggressive or has any behavioral problems. Unfortunately, if a dog has a habit of biting, or is unwell, we may not be able to complete the grooming. A fee will be charged depending on the work completed up to that point. -
There is a risk of accident when handling dogs. We will transport your dog to a veterinarian if necessary.

We require all dogs to be vaccinated (including Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovious, Leptospirosis, Kennel Cough). Owners will take full responsibility if their dogs are not fully vaccinated and get sick. Puppies should be no more than 16 weeks old and have all of their 3 vaccinations before booking.

The dog owner will advise of any medical and physical problems. We cannot guarantee appointments for senior dogs (over 12 years). We sometimes can't accept a senior dog if the groomer feels it is too difficult or uncomfortable for the dog. To avoid this situation, we require new clients with a senior dog to visit us and meet the groomer before booking. Grooming sick or senior dogs is entirely at the owner's risk.

Owners agree that images/footage of their dog(s) may be used for social media purposes.
